We’ve Officially Levelled Up: Announcing Our New CIC!

We have some exciting, meaningful news to share with you. The Writing Community Chat Show is now officially a Community Interest Company (CIC)! 🎉

That’s not just a fancy title. It means we're now legally recognised as a not-for-profit organisation created to serve and support our writing community. It marks a significant milestone in our journey, and we couldn’t have done it without your constant support, encouragement, and belief in what we do.

For over five years, we've been committed to spotlighting writers from all walks of life, sharing their stories, triumphs, and struggles, and having a few laughs along the way. We’ve hosted over 350 interviews, tackled important conversations around creativity and mental health, and worked hard to build a space where all writers feel seen and supported.

By becoming a CIC, we’ve taken this mission to the next level.

So, what does this mean for you, and for us?

✔️ We'll now be able to apply for funding and grants to bring new ideas to life:

→ Interactive online writing courses.

→ Mental health and wellbeing workshops.

→ Writing competitions and community events.

→ Support services for authors and creatives.

✔️ We can form new partnerships and sponsorships to grow our platform, while staying focused on what really matters: supporting the community.

✔️ And importantly, it means everything we do is driven by social good, not profit. Every penny we raise goes back into creating better opportunities for writers like you.
